Short-Form Mediation
Questions
& Answers
Question:
What is Short Form Mediation?
Answer:
Short-Form Mediation is a 3 hour non-binding mediation session
conducted by telephone.
Question:
When Should I Use It?
Answer:
Use it if you have a simple dispute where all you may need is
an independent party to get a reasonable dialog established.
We
specialize in disputes related to Partnerships, Joint Ventures,
Strategic Alliances and other types of corporate partnerings.
Our
service is intended for large corporate partnerings, but our Short-Form
Mediation service is so inexpensive you can use if for disputes
over small matters.
Question:
How Does it Work?
Answer:
Our experience is that once the parties to a dispute come to a
shared understanding of what the facts are, they are substantially
more likely to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.
This
can often be accomplished by having a neutral party share the
factual assumptions held by the parties while keeping everyone
intellectually honest.
Question:
How Much Does it Cost?
Answer:
The Short-Form Mediation costs $950. It is the most cost effective
dispute resolution for sophisticated business disputes that we
are aware of.
For
an additional fee it can be conducted as a video conference.
